Role Description This is a full time, on-site Pharmacist role based in the Greater Allahabad Area. The Pharmacist will dispense prescribed medications, verify orders for accuracy and safety, and counsel patients on proper use, dosage, potential side effects, and storage of medications.

Daily responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, checking for drug interactions and contraindications, and maintaining accurate patient and inventory records. The role involves managing stock levels, ensuring proper storage conditions, and complying with legal and regulatory requirements related to controlled substances and pharmacy operations. The Pharmacist will collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy, support health promotion initiatives,



and contribute to quality assurance and infection control activities in the facility.

Qualifications

- Relevant pharmacy qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy) and valid registration or license to practice as a Pharmacist, as required by local regulations.
- Robust clinical pharmacy knowledge, including pharmacology, therapeutics, drug interactions, and contraindications, with the ability to review and interpret prescriptions accurately.
- Proficiency in patient counseling, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to explain medication instructions in an understandable, culturally sensitive manner.
- Experience with pharmacy management systems, prescription processing, and maintaining accurate medication and inventory records.
- Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards, including controlled substance handling, documentation requirements, and infection control practices.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, patient-facing environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and demonstrate professional ethics, integrity, and respect for diverse patients and colleagues.
- Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or community pharmacy setting in India or similar healthcare environment is beneficial.
