Required Skills

- Good understanding of OWASP Web Application Security risks
- Required positive knowledge in Kali Linux, Burp Suite, HCL Rational Appscan, Nmap, Nessus, SQL map.
- A solid understanding of ethical hacking. Ability to assess testing tools and deploy the right ones
- Good understanding on Network and Server security testing
- Scripting and programming experience is beneficial
- Ability to explain findings to non-technical professionals
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Customer facing skills
- Able to work independently and also as part of a team

Certification : Ethical Hacking certified from EC Council, any other Security Certification would be an added advantage

Experience Required

- Good experience in using Kali Linux, Burp Suite and HCL Rational Appscan.
- Penetration testing experience of web-based applications and networks.




- Solid knowledge and experience of using a variety of penetration testing or threat modelling tools including open source.

Experience of threat reporting and assessing vulnerabilities.

- Adapt at explaining technical jargon to non-technical parties.
- Scripting skills is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

- Perform Penetration Testing on Web Application, Web Services and API's.
- Keep up to date with latest testing and ethical hacking method
- Deploy the testing methodology and collect data
- Report the findings and recommendations to the customers
- Make suggestions for security improvements and perform scans on Network scans on Nessus.

Essential Education &

Skills

- Bachelors / Master's degree
- Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills with professional work ethics
- Should be a quick learner
- Exhibit a strong passion towards penetration testing and has the zeal to learn new skills
