Part Time Video Editor, AI Assisted Medical Education Content (Remote)
About Recollia
Recollia is a mobile first medical education platform for India's NEET PG aspirants and early career doctors, combining AI tutoring, clinical case simulation, and structured courses in a voice first, multilingual experience. We are a small, fast moving team.
The role
We generate our raw material with AI. Scripts and storyboards via Claude, visuals via Higgsfield, voice via ElevenLabs, presenters via HeyGen, stock and templates via Envato. What we need is someone who turns that pile of generated assets into videos people actually want to watch.
This is not a follow the template editing job. AI output is inconsistent by nature. Shots do not match, VO timing is off, the avatar drifts, the pacing sags in the middle. Your job is to have the taste and the technical chops to fix all of that and make it look intentional.
What you will do
- Cut short form content for Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp, plus long form course and lecture videos
- Assemble AI generated footage into coherent sequences, colour matching across generations, hiding seams, cutting around artifacts
- Sync ElevenLabs VO and HeyGen presenters to picture, fixing timing, breath, and lip sync drift
- Build motion graphics in After Effects: lower thirds, medical diagrams and callouts, animated text, transitions
- Burn accurate subtitles across English, Hindi, and other Indian languages. You do not need to speak them all,
you need to place them correctly and respect the scripts we give you
- Build and maintain a reusable template and preset library so each new video takes less time than the last
- Tell us honestly when a generated asset is unusable, rather than shipping something broken
What we need
- Real proficiency in After Effects plus Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- A portfolio you can talk through shot by shot, explaining what the decision was and why
- Strong sense of pacing for short form. You know where a viewer drops off and you cut before they get there
- Comfortable working with AI generated assets and their failure modes, or clearly capable of picking that up fast
- Reliable async communication and honest delivery estimates
- Own machine capable of After Effects work, and secure internet
Nice to have
- Experience with educational or explainer content
- Familiarity with Indian language typography and subtitle layout
- Sound design and audio cleanup
- You have used Higgsfield, HeyGen, or ElevenLabs yourself

- Part time, fully remote, with some overlap on IST working hours
