Job Summary MaxPetz Veterinary Hospital is looking for dedicated and compassionate Paravets (Veterinary Assistants) to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate should have experience assisting veterinary doctors in OPD, inpatient care, surgical procedures, and emergency cases. Candidates must be comfortable handling dogs and cats and should possess a strong commitment to animal welfare and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist veterinarians during consultations, examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Safely restrain and handle dogs and cats for examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
- Prepare patients, instruments, and treatment areas before procedures.
- Administer medications, fluids, and basic treatments as directed by veterinarians.
- Monitor hospitalized patients and report any changes in their condition.
- Assist in sample collection, dressing changes, wound care, and post-operative patient management.




- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Sterilize surgical instruments and maintain cleanliness of treatment and operation areas.
- Support emergency and critical care cases when required.
- Educate pet owners on basic post-treatment care under veterinary guidance.
- Maintain hospital hygiene, infection control, and biosecurity standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 2–3 years of experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic.
- Proven hands-on experience assisting veterinary doctors.
- Confident in handling dogs and cats of different breeds and temperaments.
- Good knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and patient care.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts.
- Pet-friendly attitude is mandatory.
- Bike Riding is mandatory.
