Company Description Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation is the nonprofit corporation of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, dedicated to advancing educational and leadership opportunities for members through programs and scholarships. Founded in 1927 as the Levere Memorial Foundation, it was initially established to fund the construction, preservation, and artifacts of the Levere Memorial Temple, as well as to support scholarships for undergraduate and graduate members. Over time, the Foundation expanded its mission to include raising private funds for educational fraternity events, beginning with the John O.
Moseley Leadership
School in 1935. Today, the Foundation co-funds the John O.
Moseley Leadership
School, supports the True Gentleman Initiative, awards annual scholarships, and operates and maintains the Levere Memorial Temple in Evanston, Illinois. Team members contribute to a mission that supports future community, corporate, and government leaders in the United States and abroad.
Role Description The Owner role is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role oversees overall operations, strategy, and resource management for the local office, ensuring alignment with the mission and objectives of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation. Daily responsibilities include supervising staff, managing budgets and financial activities, coordinating with leadership and stakeholders,
and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
The role involves building partnerships, supporting donor relations and fundraising initiatives, and monitoring program delivery to maintain quality and impact. The Owner also sets performance goals, reviews key metrics, and drives continuous improvement in processes, communication, and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in organizational leadership and operations management, including staff supervision and strategic planning.
Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, reporting, and oversight of nonprofit or mission-driven initiatives.
Proficiency in stakeholder management, including donor relations, partnerships, and community engagement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
Proven ability in project and program management, including setting goals, tracking outcomes, and improving processes.
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, nonprofit administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is an asset.
Experience working in or with nonprofit, educational, or foundation environments is highly beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and maintain a high level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
