Job Summary The Technical Specialist for Oracle PL/SQL will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle PL/SQL code and applications. This role will involve working closely with teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions using Oracle PL/SQL.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize oracle pl/sql procedures, functions, packages, and triggers to support application development.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze requirements and design database solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing oracle pl/sql code to ensure optimal performance.




- Implement data models and database designs to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
- Perform regular code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Skill Requirements

Must Have:

Overall 12+ years of IT industry experience

7+ years of experience as DBA in Oracle 11g/12c/18c/19c in Red Hat Linux using ASM storage and ext3 file systems.

Experience in PostgreSQL and SQL Server is also mandatory (at least 1 year).

Unix Shell Scripting experience is required (at least 1 year).

Experience in Oracle Transparent Data encryption.

Experience in operating Oracle in the Cloud (OCI) is a plus.

Experience with Oracle Exadata is required.

Experience with Azure services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Fabric)

Relevant experience with RMAN for backup and recovery.

Relevant experience in use of ITIL processes.

Relevant experience for SOX/ICFR compliance of critical financial systems.

Preferred:

Knowledge of Dremio, data lake accelerator solution is a plus.
