Oracle EPM EDMCS (Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service) typically involves managing enterprise data governance, metadata, hierarchies, and integrations across EPM applications like FCCS, ARCS, and EPBCS. Roles can be functional (consulting, design, implementation) or techno-functional (configuration, integration, automation).

Position Overview

Oracle EPM EDMCS Consultant

Enterprise Data Management, metadata governance, hierarchy management, and integration with other Oracle EPM modules.

Usually 510+ years in Oracle EPM applications, with 23 years in EDMCS specifically.

Key Responsibilities

- Data Governance & Metadata Management
- Define and maintain hierarchies, dimensions, and reference data across EPM applications.
- Ensure consistency of metadata across FCCS, EPBCS, PCMCS, ARCS, etc.
- Implementation & Configuration
- Configure EDMCS applications, workflows, and validations.
- Support migration of metadata from on-premise Hyperion to Oracle Cloud.

- Integration




- Work with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion, SAP, etc.) for metadata synchronization.
- Develop automation scripts and REST API integrations.

- Functional Consulting
- Gather business requirements, design solutions, and provide best practices.
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to align EDMCS with reporting needs.
- Support & Maintenance
- Troubleshoot metadata issues and resolve hierarchy conflicts.
- Provide training and documentation for end-users.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud (FCCS, EPBCS, PCMCS, ARCS).
- Hands-on experience with EDMCS workflows, validations, and subscriptions.
- Familiarity with data integration tools (FDMEE, Data Management, REST APIs).
- Good understanding of financial consolidation, planning, and reconciliation processes.
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Oracle EPM Cloud certifications (EDMCS, FCCS, EPBCS).
- Experience in migration projects (Hyperion to Oracle Cloud).
