MyntOptics is looking for an Optical Systems Engineer to join our growing team in Dehradun.

This is a broad optics and imaging role for someone with a background or strong interest in optical systems, imaging systems, cameras, lenses, illumination, sensors, filters, optical testing, or photonics.

We are open to candidates at different experience levels. Depending on the candidate’s background, this role may be structured as a junior, mid-level, or senior optical systems role, with a possible path toward technical leadership.

What You Will Work

On

Set up and test camera, lens, lighting, filter, and sensor-based optical systems.

Evaluate image quality, focus, field of view, depth of field, contrast, glare, illumination, and resolution.

Support optical design, simulation, testing, and prototype evaluation activities.

Compare optical components, vendor samples, and imaging configurations.

Prepare clear technical notes, test observations, and reports.

Coordinate with customers, vendors, and remote optical design team members when required.

What We Are Looking

For

Background in optics, photonics, physics, electronics, instrumentation, machine vision, imaging systems,



or a related field.

Hands-on interest or experience with cameras, lenses, lighting, filters, sensors, optical labs, or imaging setups.

Ability to understand image quality and troubleshoot practical optical/imaging problems.

Clear communication skills and willingness to document technical work.

Ability to learn quickly and take ownership in a small, growing technical company. Good to Have

Familiarity with Zemax OpticStudio or optical design/simulation tools.

Experience with Python, MATLAB, OpenCV, image processing, machine vision, or optical testing.

Experience working with customers, vendors, prototypes, or technical documentation.
