Position Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber, sharp, and proactive Operations Lead (Deputy Chief of Staff) to serve as the operational right hand to our Lead for EBS Functional Practice and SaaS Implementations.

This is not an administrative or purely secretarial position. We need a strategic operator who can quickly grasp complex functional practice needs, act as an extension of practice leadership, and manage cross-functional initiatives, practice operations, and client engagement tracking. You will be the primary engine driving visibility, follow-through, alignment, and operational momentum across our SaaS implementation lifecycle and functional practices. Key Responsibilities:

Practice

Operations & Execution Support

Direct operational right-hand to the Practice Lead, translating strategy and practice goals into actionable, trackable workstreams.

Monitor practice delivery, functional project health, key SaaS rollout milestones, and resource bottlenecks—flagging operational risks early with actionable recommendations.

Facilitate leadership syncs, client status reviews, and cross-team alignment meetings—synthesizing complex discussions into strategic action plans, decision logs, and immediate execution roadmaps.

- Governance & Program Management Support

Establish and maintain practice governance frameworks across functional implementation projects and SaaS engagements.

Track key metrics, resource utilization, functional practice KPIs, and milestone compliance to ensure standard delivery frameworks are met.

Coordinate cross-functional delivery dependencies across practice teams, onshore/offshore leads, and practice stakeholders.

Analysis & Special Projects

Conduct quick-turn research, functional process analysis,



and data synthesis to help leadership make informed strategic decisions.

Own and execute high-priority, ad-hoc practice initiatives—ranging from onboarding frameworks to practice collateral improvements and tool rollouts.

Standardize functional practice documentation, templates, and best-practice repositories to elevate implementation delivery quality.

Qualifications & Key Requirements:

Experience: 5–8 years of experience in management consulting, IT services, practice operations, PMO, or as an operational lead/chief of staff in a fast-paced environment.

Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Exceptional analytical ability with strong business acumen. You can dissect complex situations, connect dots across functional workstreams, and synthesize unstructured discussions into clear operational plans.

Proactivity & Ownership: Self-starter mindset with robust initiative. High ability to anticipate leadership needs, operate independently with minimal direction, and follow through rigorously on commitments.

Communication: Flawless written and verbal English communication skills. Confident engaging across time zones with senior management, functional practice leads, and project stakeholders.

Technical & Operational Literacy: Comfort navigating SaaS project delivery, enterprise software concepts (EBS / ERP / Cloud SaaS), and modern PM tools (Jira, Asana, Azure DevOps, SmartSheet, MS PowerPoint/Excel). Key Traits for Success in This Role:
