The Analyst is responsible for validating processor portals, accurately capturing case details in the system, and supporting day-to-day operations. The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in MS Excel for data validation and reporting, and the ability to work in a structured, SLA-driven environment. Exposure to chargeback processes will be considered an added advantage.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Operational Execution

- Validate assigned processor portals regularly to identify new cases and updates.
- Accurately capture and update case details in the system within defined SLAs.
- Ensure completeness and correctness of data across all transactions.

Data Validation & Accuracy

- Perform data validation checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and resolve data mismatches across portals and internal systems.

Excel-Based Analysis & Reporting

- Use MS Excel for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting, including:
- VLOOKUP / HLOOKUP for data matching
- IF conditions for logical checks
- AND conditions for multi-criteria validation
- SUMIF, COUNTIF and basic aggregation functions

- Maintain trackers and reports to monitor case status and productivity.

Process Support

- Follow defined SOPs, SLAs, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to data security and confidentiality standards.

Chargeback Process Exposure (Added Advantage / Good to Have)

- Basic understanding of dispute/chargeback lifecycle (Retrieval, Chargeback, Representment, Pre-Arbitration,



Arbitration) is preferred.
- Support chargeback-related activities based on process requirements and training.

Collaboration

- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or data gaps.
- Communicate updates, risks, and blockers to supervisors proactively.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to handle volume-driven tasks and meet deadlines.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.

Experience Requirements

- Analyst: 1-3 years of experience in operations, data processing, or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in MS Excel is mandatory.
- Experience in BFSI / payments / chargeback domain is a plus but not mandatory.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Accuracy and timeliness of data entry and validation.
- SLA adherence and productivity levels.
- Effective use of Excel for reconciliation and reporting.
- Quality and consistency in process execution.

Additional Information

This role requires strong execution capability, accuracy, and adherence to defined processes. Candidates with strong Excel skills and ability to learn domain knowledge quickly will succeed in this role.
