Role & responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and medical conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as per the physician's orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Offer emotional support and information to patients' families and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation of patient care and progress.
- Assist in emergency situations, providing rapid response and critical care support.
- Conduct regular patient assessments and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions promptly.
- Participate in continuing education to stay updated with the latest ICU nursing practices.
