Key Responsibilities

Online Quality

Monitoring

Monitor product quality throughout the production process.

Verify that all process parameters are maintained within specified limits.

Conduct routine quality checks at designated intervals.

Ensure products meet approved quality specifications.

2.

Process

Control

Monitor wheat cleaning, conditioning, milling, and packing operations.

Check sieve integrity, product flow, and process hygiene.

Verify product appearance, colour, texture, and granulation.

Inform Production immediately if any deviation is observed.

3.

Packaging

Quality

Verify correct packaging material before production starts.

Check batch coding, MRP, manufacturing date, expiry date, and barcode printing.

Ensure proper sealing, pack weight, and overall pack appearance.

Prevent use of incorrect or damaged packaging materials.

- Food Safety & GMP Compliance

Ensure compliance with GMP, GHP, and personal hygiene requirements.

Verify housekeeping and sanitation in the production area.

Monitor pest control observations and report any signs of infestation.

Ensure foreign body control measures are followed.





- Documentation

Maintain online inspection records and process monitoring sheets.

Record deviations and corrective actions taken.

Complete all quality documents accurately and on time.

Maintain product traceability records.

- Non-Conformance Management

Identify and segregate non-conforming products.

Stop production or product release in case of critical quality or food safety issues after informing the concerned authority.

Coordinate with Production and QA for corrective actions.

7.

Audit

Support

Support internal, customer, regulatory, and FSSC 22000 audits.

Ensure production practices comply with company procedures and food safety standards.

Qualification

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Agriculture, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in a flour mill, durum wheat processing plant, or food manufacturing industry.

Freshers with relevant qualifications may be considered.
