- Create custom therapy goals to help patients relearn tasks like dressing, bathing, or cooking.

- Recommend and teach the use of adaptive devices or mobility aids.

- Inspect home or work spaces and suggest safety modifications.

- Support vocational rehabilitation and a safe return to work.

- Teach coping and functional cognition strategies for mental health or neurological challenges.

- Educate family members and caregivers on proper support methods.

- Record clinical notes, monitor progress, and coordinate with doctors or physical therapists

Requirements

- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy

- Valid state or national licensures/registration to practice as an occupational therapist.

- Solid knowledge of adult rehabilitation, neurology, orthopedics, or mental health.

- Excellent empathy, problem-solving, and communication skills.
