About the Role

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the holistic management of the R&I; hubs physical infrastructure, specialized laboratory facilities, and critical equipment. This role ensures a safe, compliant, efficient,



and state-of-the-art working environment that supports cutting-edge scientific research and innovation across the SAPMENA region.

Also, role will collaborate closely with the Real Estate Department. This role will be based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

Building Infrastructure & Facility Operations

- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, building maintenance, space planning, and infrastructural upgrades for laboratories, offices, and pilot plants.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for HVAC systems, electrical grids, plumbing, fire safety, and security systems.
- Ensure optimal workspace conditions (temperature, humidity, cleanrooms) critical for R&I; activities.
- Rely and develop the usage of Archibus as the company CMMS.

Laboratory Equipment Maintenance & Calibration

- Coordinate the lifecycle management, calibration, and preventive maintenance of specialized scientific and analytical laboratory equipment.
- Partner with internal scientific teams and external OEM vendors to troubleshoot equipment downtime, ensuring minimal disruption to research projects.
- Maintain comprehensive asset registers, service histories, and compliance records for all facility and lab assets.
