Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Reference Data Business Analyst with robust expertise in Instrument Reference Data to support reference data onboarding, governance, and management initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of financial instruments, reference data lifecycle, data governance, and capital markets, while effectively collaborating with Risk, Finance, and Technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage instrument reference data onboarding, governance, and maintenance.
- Analyze and document business requirements related to reference data.
- Ensure high-quality, accurate, and governed reference data across enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to deliver data solutions.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation activities.




- Work with reference data systems and financial data vendors.
- Support data integration and ETL initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and data governance standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality and operational efficiency.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Instrument Reference Data (Operations or Technology).
- Excellent understanding of financial instruments, including:
- Equities
- Fixed Income
- Derivatives
- Structured Products

- Strong knowledge of:

- Reference Data Lifecycle
- Data Sourcing
- Data Governance

- Experience working with financial data vendors such as:

- Bloomberg
- Reuters
- Markit

- Knowledge of industry standards:

- ISIN
- CUSIP
- LEI

- Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as Basel, CCAR, Risk Reporting, and Finance Reporting.
