We are seeking a highly motivated Design Engineer with experience in product design, sheet metal components, mechanical assemblies, and engineering documentation. The ideal candidate should possess strong CAD modeling skills using Siemens NX and SolidWorks, along with experience in BOM management, manufacturing support, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components, sheet metal parts, and assemblies using Siemens NX and SolidWorks.

- Create detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings as per industry standards.

- Prepare and maintain Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) and support engineering change management activities.

- Develop sheet metal designs considering manufacturability, cost, quality, and assembly requirements.

- Perform assembly design, interference checks, tolerance analysis, and design validation.

- Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and suppliers to resolve design-related issues.

- Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.

- Review customer specifications and convert requirements into engineering designs.

- Generate and maintain technical documentation, design reports,



and release packages.

- Participate in product improvement, value engineering, and cost reduction initiatives.

- Support manufacturing teams by providing technical guidance during production and assembly.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in Siemens NX and SolidWorks.

- Robust knowledge of Sheet Metal Design and fabrication processes.

- Experience in Mechanical Assembly Design.

- Hands-on experience in BOM creation and management.

- Understanding of GD&T;, tolerancing, and engineering drawing standards.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly.

- Experience with engineering change management (ECN/ECR).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

- 3 to 8 years of experience in product design or mechanical design engineering.

- Experience working with PLM systems such as Teamcenter or Windchill.

- Exposure to DFM/DFA and product lifecycle management.
