Exp-3-5 Years A Node.js Developer is primarily responsible for building and maintaining server-side applications and APIs using Node.js. Typical key responsibilities include:
Core Development Responsibilities
- Develop scalable and high-performance backend applications using Node.js.
- Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Implement business logic and integrate third-party services and APIs.
Database Management
- Design and manage databases such as:
- SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- Optimize database queries and ensure effective data retrieval.
Integration and Architecture
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services.
- Work with microservices, event-driven architectures, and message queues when required.
- Develop and maintain API documentation.
Performance and Security
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Implement security best practices, including:
- Authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)
- Data encryption
- Protection against common vulnerabilities such as SQL injection and XSS.
- Ensure application scalability and reliability.
Testing and Quality Assurance

- Work with version control systems such as Git.
