- Research, write, and edit daily news stories across politics, tech, culture, and trending topics with speed and accuracy.
- Optimize headlines, blurbs, and meta descriptions for SEO and social virality — ensuring maximum reach and CTR.
- Adapt tone and format for multiple platforms including Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and news websites.
- Fact-check all content rigorously and source information from credible, real-time digital and traditional media.
- Collaborate with editors and designers to align content with editorial calendars and brand voice guidelines.
- Monitor trending hashtags, breaking news, and audience engagement metrics to inform story selection and packaging.





Skills & Qualifications Must-Have

- Strong command of English writing with grammar precision and journalistic clarity
- Experience writing news or blog content — internships, freelancing, or college publications accepted
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and basic CMS platforms
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with SEO writing principles and social media engagement metrics
- Knowledge of current affairs, Indian & global news cycles, and trending topics

Preferred

- Experience writing for Instagram Reels, Twitter threads, or short-form video scripts
- Basic understanding of tools like Canva, Hootsuite, or Buffer for content scheduling
- Ability to write in Hindi or any Indian regional language for localized content
