Proven experience with implementing, administering, monitoring, managing and troubleshoot network CISCO infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, routers, switches (LAN and Core), Wireless Lan Controllers.

Proven experience with implementing, administering, and troubleshoot Firewalls and NGFW features (e.g. Cisco/Palo Alto/Checkpoint).

Certified within a relevant technical field is required – Cisco and/Or Palo Alto Networks

Solid understanding of TCP/IP based networks, application transport and networking protocols (e.g. BGP and SNMP)

Strong expertise on NW segmentation and NW profiling.

Solid expertise in WIFI setup and how to maintain superior end-users experience in a WIFI only setup.

Understanding of the Purdue model, part of the Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture (PERA)l is a must.

Knowledge of the structure and organization of MIBs (tree structure using OIDs).

Knowledge in Proxies and API´s / brokers (e.g. MQTT) is a plus.

Experience in working under high pressure environments across multiple sectors and verticals.

Experience of supporting LAN, WAN, WLAN, Security products and infrastructures in complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Knowledge of best practices for IT operations.

Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow is a plus).

Knowledge of manufacturing environments or Manufacturing Execution System is a plus.

Proactively identify and ensure the timely remediation of issues within their towers.

Promptly respond and resolve inquiries and escalations.

Ensure systemic issues are identified and remedial actions are taken to prevent future occurrences.





Assist in the planning and oversight of change management activities.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities and follow through on tasks Problem solver who exercises sound judgment in complex situations.

Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning using various tools.

Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.

Experience working within regulated industries.

Possess and maintain a detailed understanding for all Networking Infrastructure services.

Collaborate for the resolution of incidents and service requests associated with the networking services.

Successful work in a team covering support throughout the day

Collaborate for the security, resilience, and monitoring of the Techops Networking Infrastructure services.

Collaborate for identifying and undertaking Service Improvements.

Collaborate for working closely and collaborate with the other teams within Ferring TechOps IT Infrastructure and 3rd parties / vendors to provide an excellent overall IT Service.

Carry out continuous personal development, ensuring technical skills are kept up to date and non-technical skills are gained and improved.

Follow ITSM (ITIL) methodology to manage changes, incidents, and problems

Use standard enterprise tools to log, track, and close activities (support and projects)
