Network Security Engineer Palo Alto Firewall

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Palo Alto Firewalls and enterprise network security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing firewall and VPN solutions while ensuring a secure, reliable, and high-performing network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, and GlobalProtect VPN.
- Implement and manage firewall policies, NAT, High Availability (HA), App-ID, User-ID, URL Filtering, and Content Filtering.
- Diagnose and resolve firewall, VPN, and network connectivity issues.
- Configure and support enterprise routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, STP, and VTP.
- Perform firewall upgrades, policy optimization, and security compliance activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure and security teams to deliver secure networking solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation and support incident management and root cause analysis.

Required Skills:





- 68 years of hands-on experience in Network Security and Firewall Administration.
- Solid expertise with Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, and GlobalProtect VPN.
- Hands-on experience with NAT, HA, App-ID, User-ID, URL Filtering, and Content Filtering.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, STP, and VTP.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in enterprise LAN and network security environments.

Preferred Skills:

- Exposure to cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and security tools.
- PCNSE, CCNP, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
