Position :- Middleware Engineer RedHat AMQ

Experience :- 8+ Year relevant into Middleware & Integration (RedHat AMQ)

Location :- Remote

Shift Timing : 24 * 7 Rotational Shifts

Messaging Hive MQ / IBM MQ / Kafka

Must have mandatory skills (non negotiable)

- Must have experience with RedHat AMQ (Primary)
- experience with HiveMQ (Secondary)
- should have very good scripting skills in either Shell / python
- any experience with IBM API Connect (APIC) will be major plus

Technical Skills:

- Administration of Redhat AMQ & messaging platform (Linux).
- Support the installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of RedHat AMQ & HIVEMQ infrastructure
- Security: Knowledge of security including encryption and TLS communication.
- Knowledge of Pub/Sub concepts
- System Performance: Knowledge of performance tuning of messaging systems to meet application requirements.
- Operating system knowledge to include Linux
- Experience with RedHat AMQ Platform components (Camel, Keycloak for MFA, Hawtio, jolokia) & Kafka
- Automation experience using Ansible,



or scripting (Python/Shell).
- Knowledge of enterprise messaging platforms (IBM MQ, Kafka, HiveMQ) is a plus.
- Development Tools/Languages: Familiarity with tools like CP-Ansible, Java, and shell scripting
- Observability tools using Prometheus / Grafana / Loginsight

RedHat AMQ – Responsibilities

- Manage highperformance messaging and integration solutions utilizing RedHat AMQ
- Install and configure RedHat AMQ brokers on RHEL 9 Linux servers.
- Install and configure brokers on RHEL 9 Linux and Windows Server platforms.
- Perform AMQ patching, upgrades, and maintenance using Ansible automation.
- Provide 247 hotline and oncall support, including weekends and holidays.
- Support broker testing, validation, and troubleshooting in collaboration with application teams.
- Monitor messaging workplace performance and perform tuning for optimal throughput and reliability.
- Create and maintain applicationspecific Grafana dashboards for messaging telemetry.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and architecture teams.
- Independently execute special assignments and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Address and remediate security vulnerabilities associated with vendor messaging products.
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates and ensure timely renewal prior to expiry.
- Maintain and support custom Java/MySQLbased broker alerting solutions.
