Role Description The Nadi Mentor – Physics is a part time, remote role focused on guiding learners to develop strong conceptual foundations in physics. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting online mentoring sessions, explaining core physics principles through intuitive examples, and helping learners connect ideas across topics such as mechanics, electricity, magnetism, and waves.

The mentor will design and refine problem sets, conceptual exercises, and explanations that fit Nadi’s philosophy of calm mastery instead of rote learning or exam panic. They will use Nadi’s AI-powered tools to track learner progress, identify conceptual gaps, and adjust their approach accordingly.



The role also involves collaborating with other mentors and the product team to improve learning flows, share best practices, and ensure a consistently supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing a Ph.D. or M.Sc., or hold a completed Ph.D. / Master’s degree in Physics or a closely related discipline.
- Strong conceptual understanding of high school and early college-level physics, with the ability to explain complex ideas in simple, intuitive ways.
- Experience in mentoring, tutoring, or teaching physics in an online or in-person setting, with a learner-centered approach.
- Comfort using digital platforms, virtual classrooms, and AI-enabled tools to deliver remote learning experiences.
- Clear, concise communication skills, including the ability to ask probing questions that promote independent thinking.
- Patience, empathy, and a coaching mindset, especially when supporting learners who are anxious about exams or struggling with abstract concepts.
- Commitment to non-rote, concept-first learning and openness to Nadi’s pedagogy and continuous improvement culture.
- Relevant academic background in Physics or a closely related field (e.g., degree, advanced coursework, or equivalent practical expertise).
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable environment for conducting focused remote mentoring sessions.
