Architect API-led connectivity solutions using MuleSoft's 3-layer model (System, Process, Experience APIs) Design and oversee development of Mule applications/APIs (RAML/OAS specs, DataWeave transformations, connectors) Define Anypoint Platform architecture: API Manager, Exchange, Runtime Manager, CloudHub/RTF deployment topology Establish integration patterns between Salesforce and ERP/legacy/cloud systems via MuleSoft (batch, real-time, event-driven using Anypoint MQ/Kafka) Define API security architecture: OAuth 2.0, client ID enforcement, TLS, policy management within API Manager Set standards for error handling, reconnection strategies, circuit breakers, and idempotency in Mule flows Own CI/CD strategy for Mule application deployment (Maven, Jenkins/Azure DevOps, MuleSoft DevOps practices) Define monitoring/observability approach (Anypoint Monitoring, custom dashboards, alerting) Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning for Mule runtimes Provide technical governance and code/design reviews for MuleSoft development teams Partner with Salesforce Integration/Data Architects to ensure canonical data models and reusable API assets Required Skills &





Experience 10-15+ years in integration development/architecture, with 4+ years hands-on MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform, Mule 4) Robust DataWeave 2.0 scripting and RAML/OAS API specification skills Experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or on-prem Mule runtime deployments Deep understanding of API-led connectivity and microservices architecture Salesforce integration experience (Connector for Salesforce, Bulk API via Mule, Platform Events) Experience with Anypoint MQ, JMS, Kafka for event-driven integration Strong understanding of security standards (OAuth, mTLS, API policies) Should be able to relate the integrations platforms in comparison to other Integration Platforms like Oracle OCI etc Preferred Experience integrating Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Commerce Cloud via MuleSoft Familiarity with Salesforce Flow/Apex to complement integration design Exposure to Composer for Salesforce or MuleSoft RPA Certifications MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect (Level 1 and/or 2) MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect Salesforce Certified Integration Architect (complementary, strongly preferred)
