For our Mechanical team, we are looking for a Rotating Equipment Engineer. You will be located at Mumbai in India.

MAIN MISSION

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review of Process Data Sheet

• Analyze client requirements and specifications for various rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors,

turbines, fans, and blowers used in industrial processes

• Develop technical specifications, API datasheets, and evaluate vendor bids for rotating and packaged

equipment

• Perform calculations to predict the performance of rotating equipment and validate the designs

• Specify selection criteria for equipment and materials, based on factors such as service life, performance, and

cost-efficiency

• Competency over material selection, specific requirement

• Generate Material Requisitions (MR), conduct Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and liaise with vendors to

evaluate technical offers

• Validate that all designs adhere to API standard for pumps and compressors

• Review and evaluate vendor design packages for compliance and quality

• Review EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) engineering deliverables and coordinate with

multidisciplinary teams (piping, process, QA/QC)

• Participation of testing of equipment including FAT





• Coordination with 3rd party engineering contractors

Coordination with Workshop and construction site

• Coordination with client for technical matters

• Participation in 3D model reviews, review of the internal 3D model

• Tracking the change order / MH

• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and startup of rotating machinery, ensuring proper alignment,

balancing, and operation according to specifications.

Codes and Standards

Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of the following codes:

• API 610 / API 617 / API 674 / API 675 / API 681 / API 682 / API 685

• API 617 / API 618 / API 619 / API 692

• ASME Section II / ASTM

• ASME B31.3 / B31.1 / B16.5

Software Proficiency

Candidate must have knowledge of:

1. AutoCAD

2. Microsoft office tools

3. Ceaser II (Optional)

B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech Mechanical Engineering

• 8-10 years of experience in Rotating Equipment (Pumps/Compressors)

• Complete experience in rotating and machinery only

• Package handling and experience in Gas / Steam turbine packages will be an added advantage

• Valuable communication & presentation skills
