We are looking for a leader as a Mines Manager for Ghogharpalli Coal Mines, VAML

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage all mining operations to achieve production, productivity, quality, and dispatch targets while ensuring operational excellence
- Ensure 100% compliance with statutory requirements under the Mines Act, CMR,



Mines Rules, DGMS regulations, and other applicable mining laws
- Drive a strong safety culture and achieve Zero Harm by implementing robust safety management systems, conducting audits, mitigating risks, and optimizing production costs (Rs/GCV) while ensuring adherence to approved operating budgets.
- Achieve planned stripping ratio, coal recovery, and reserve conservation targets with minimal geological loss and dilution.
- Collaborate closely with MDOs, contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless mine operations and target achievements.
- Optimize utilization of mining equipment, resources, and manpower to maximize productivity, improve efficiency, and minimize downtime.
- Lead ESG and sustainability initiatives, ensuring environmental compliance, responsible mining practices, and achievement of Zero Waste targets.

Desired Skills

- B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering wi th 12- 18 ye ars of relevant experience in large opencast coal mining operations
- Should hold a First Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency (Co al) issued by DGMS (Mandatory)
- Proven experience in managing mine production, safety, statutory compliance, contractor/MDO management, and ESG initiatives.
