MS Fabric + Azure - (6-9 years)

Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows, Lakehouse, Warehouse)

Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake)

SQL (advanced) and Python/Spark for data transformation

Strong understanding of data modelling (e.g. star schema)

Experience building scalable data pipelines for large datasets

Experience in financial services data environments (desirable)

MS Fabric + Power BI (6-12 years)

The role includes implementing all aspects of end-to-end development and maintenance, involving collaboration with business users and team members to deliver data and reporting solutions using Agile principles. The role is quite business focused, applying both business and technical expertise to deliver data solutions in collaboration within Data & Analytics team and business users.

The role requires solid technical expertise in Fabric and Power BI to deliver reporting solutions and provide technical support, serving as the point of contact for the business. Role holder is expected to:

Possess strong investigative and analytical qualities





Be educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience and it is desirable to have has an appropriate certification relating to the technical specialism that the role requires.

Have excellent communication skills in English - both written and verbal.

Be a team player with a positive and constructive attitude towards work and colleagues.

Collaborate with business users, team members and external technical teams to understand the requirements and develop innovative and practical solutions

Apply a diligent approach to completing work on time and level of quality

Section 3 Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Power BI expert responsible for development of reports.

Adhere to Agile working practices and participate in all the daily and weekly ceremonies in your team

Section 4 – Technical skills

Power BI (>3 years), Fabric (>2 years), SQL (>5 years)

Tableau, Cognos – desirable but not required

Good understanding of Kimball methodology / star schema design.

Experience in development of data solutions for financial services.
