Role Description This is a full-time, in office Microbiologist role located in Mahesana. The Microbiologist will perform routine microbiological testing of sterile APIs, raw materials, intermediates, utilities, and environmental samples in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining cultures, operating and calibrating laboratory equipment, documenting results accurately, and participating in environmental monitoring and sterility testing programs. The role involves collaborating with quality control and quality assurance teams to investigate deviations, support root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. The Microbiologist will also contribute to method validation,



continuous improvement of lab procedures, and adherence to safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Microbiology knowledge, including microbial identification, sterility testing, and contamination control in pharmaceutical environments.
- Candidates should possess solid Laboratory Skills, including aseptic techniques, sample handling, and preparation of media and reagents.
- Candidates should possess experience with Laboratory Equipment, such as incubators, autoclaves, laminar airflow units, microscopes, and microbiological testing instruments.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control expertise, including routine testing, trend analysis, and documentation aligned with regulatory guidelines.
- Candidates should possess Quality Assurance awareness, including GMP, GLP, regulatory compliance, and participation in audits and validation activities.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related life science field.
- Ability to follow SOPs precisely, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings clearly to cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in sterile pharmaceutical or API manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to laboratory safety and ethical practices.
