We are seeking an experienced Functional Architect with 1015 years of expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), PLM, and ERP integration within the automotive sector. The role requires strong functional leadership in MES implementation using Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk, end-to-end ownership of PLM–MES–ERP digital continuity, and the ability to translate complex shopfloor and engineering business needs into robust functional architecture. The incumbent will drive shopfloor digitalization, EBOM-to-MBOM continuity, and engineering change management across 3DEXPERIENCE / ENOVIA and MES landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and document business requirements for MES implementation and integration processes.

- Define and analyse AS-IS / TO-BE manufacturing workflows and shopfloor processes.

- Support MES implementation and configuration using Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk.

- Manage PLM–MES integration (ENOVIA) and MES–ERP integration.

- Support EBOM to MBOM creation and integration across PLM (ENOVIA), MES, and ERP.

- Translate requirements into functional specifications (FSD / FDD) for MES and PLM / ERP teams.

- Support 3DEXPERIENCE / ENOVIA implementations and Engineering Change Management (ECR / ECO).

- Perform gap analysis and impact assessment for MES and integrated systems.

- Support UAT planning, execution, and business sign-off for MES and integration functionalities.

- Maintain process documentation (BRD, FSD, workflows, traceability matrices).

- Ensure data consistency and digital continuity across PLM, MES, and ERP platforms.

- Drive shopfloor digitalization, automation,



production planning, and quality management initiatives.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and go-live / hypercare support activities.

Primary Skills (Must-Have)

- Strong hands-on experience in MES implementation and configuration using Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk (ProductionCentre / Production Suite).

- Proven expertise in PLM–MES–ERP integration architecture and end-to-end digital continuity across engineering, manufacturing, and enterprise systems.

- Solid functional understanding of ERP processes covering Production Planning, Shopfloor Execution, Quality Management, Material Management, Inventory, and Order Management.

- Hands-on knowledge of master data flows between PLM, MES, and ERP — including Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centre, and Production Order objects.

- In-depth experience in EBOM to MBOM transformation, BOM continuity, routing definition, and configuration management across PLM and ERP.

- Strong understanding of MES–ERP integration patterns (production order release, confirmation, goods movement, quality results, genealogy, and traceability).

- Solid functional understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, shopfloor execution, production planning,



and quality management.

- Expertise in writing BRDs, FSDs / FDDs, gap analysis, traceability matrices, and process documentation.

- Experience driving UAT cycles, cutover, go-live, and hypercare support for large transformation programs.

Secondary Skills (Valuable-to-Have)

- Strong working knowledge of the Dassault Systmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform, including ENOVIA collaborative product development and CATIA V6 design integration.

- Hands-on exposure to ENOVIA core modules — Engineering Central, Library Central, Sourcing Central, Change Management, Program Central, and Product Configuration Management.

- Experience in managing EBOM structures, part lifecycle, revision / version control, maturity states, and effectivity within 3DEXPERIENCE.

- End-to-end understanding of Engineering Change Management on 3DEXPERIENCE — Change Request (CR), Change Order (CO), Change Action (CA), and impact analysis workflows.

- Familiarity with CATIA V6 design data, CGR / 3D representations, and CAD–PLM integration for design release into ENOVIA.

- Exposure to 3DEXPERIENCE platform administration concepts — collaborative spaces, organisations, access roles, and lifecycle governance.

- Understanding of ENOVIA integration with downstream MES and ERP systems for BOM publication, item synchronisation, and change propagation.

- Exposure to shopfloor automation, IIoT, OEE, traceability, and Industry 4.0 frameworks.

- Familiarity with Agile / hybrid delivery models and digital transformation programs.
