Position: Merchandiser – Homeware Designing

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Homeware Merchandiser to manage product development, sourcing, costing, market research, and coordination with vendors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Research current homeware, dcor, textile, and lifestyle trends.
- Develop new homeware product concepts with the design team.
- Handle sourcing of fabrics, materials, accessories, trims, and other product requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare and manage product costing, pricing, and quotations.
- Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing and quality.
- Coordinate sampling, product development, approvals, and modifications.
- Follow up with vendors for timely samples and production.
- Conduct competitor and market research to identify new product opportunities.
- Maintain product details, costing sheets, vendor information, and development records.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, Quality, and Sales teams.




- Ensure products meet required quality, design, cost, and delivery standards.
- Track product development from concept to final production.

Requirements:
- Experience in Merchandising, Homeware, Home Textiles, Fashion, or Lifestyle Products preferred.
- Good knowledge of sourcing, costing, product development, and vendor management.
- Strong research and market-trend analysis skills.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong follow-up and coordination abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple products and deadlines effectively.
