Interactive Data Systems Limited (IDSL) is looking for an experienced Project Engineer MEP / Fire Fighting to lead and execute MEP and Fire Fighting projects from planning to commissioning. The ideal candidate should possess robust technical expertise, project coordination skills, and the ability to deliver projects within schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute and monitor MEP and Fire Fighting projects at site.

- Plan, coordinate, and supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

- Review project drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and contract documents.

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, vendors, and subcontractors.

- Prepare project schedules and ensure timely execution.

- Ensure compliance with NBC, NFPA, IS Codes, and other applicable standards.

- Monitor material planning, procurement, and inventory requirements.

- Conduct site inspections and maintain quality, safety, and statutory compliance.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.

- Resolve technical issues during project execution.

- Support project handover, documentation, and client approvals.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Fire Fighting Systems, Hydrant Systems, Sprinkler Systems,



Fire Alarm Systems, Pumps, and MEP Services.

- Expertise in AutoCAD and MS Office.

- Experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, and project documentation.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

- Excellent project coordination and team management skills.

- Strong communication and client-handling abilities.

- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.

- Additional certifications in Fire Fighting, MEP, or Project Management will be an added advantage.

Experience

- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in MEP and Fire Fighting project execution.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in commercial, industrial, government, or infrastructure projects.

- Ability to manage multiple project sites.

- Willingness to travel based on project requirements.
