Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for a MEP Design Engineer based in Coimbatore South. The MEP Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and integrating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for residential projects, ensuring compliance with standards, codes, and project specifications. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing MEP drawings and models, coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and site teams, and optimizing designs for safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

The role involves conducting technical evaluations, supporting value engineering initiatives, resolving design-related issues during construction,



and collaborating with vendors and consultants. The engineer will also assist in preparing documentation, design reports, and technical submittals, while supporting continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design for building and MEP systems.

Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering expertise, with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems design.

Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and related design software used for MEP layouts and coordination.

Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.

Experience in residential or real estate projects, preferably in MEP design and coordination.

Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards applicable to MEP services.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
