We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Media Planning Head to lead our media planning team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in media planning and buying, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and clients.

The Media Planning

Director will be responsible for developing comprehensive media plans that align with our clients’ marketing objectives and drive business results. Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development: Lead the development of integrated media strategies that align with clients’ marketing goals. Identify target audiences, select appropriate media channels, and allocate budgets effectively.

Campaign Management: Oversee the execution of media plans, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet performance expectations.



Monitor and optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.

Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients. Understand their business needs and provide strategic media recommendations.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of media planners and buyers. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Vendor Negotiations: Negotiate with media vendors to secure the best rates and placements for clients. Maintain strong relationships with media partners.

Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data and analytics tools to track campaign performance. Prepare detailed reports and present insights and recommendations to clients.

Budget Management: Oversee media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and ROI. Provide financial reporting and forecasting to senior management.

Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging media channels, and consumer behavior. Apply insights to enhance media strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, account management, and digital teams to ensure integrated and cohesive campaign execution.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in media planning and buying, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Skills

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Proficient in media planning and analytics tools (e.g., Nielsen, Comscore, Google Analytics).

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
