Role Description The Mechanical Engineering Technician role at MD Enterprises is a full-time, in office position based in Ahmedabad. The technician will support mechanical design and production activities, prepare and interpret technical drawings, and assist engineers in developing and modifying mechanical systems and components. Daily tasks include operating and overseeing machining and milling equipment, performing routine maintenance on machines, and troubleshooting mechanical issues on the shop floor.

The role involves measuring and inspecting parts to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, documenting work performed,



and coordinating with engineers, production staff, and quality teams. The technician is expected to follow established procedures, adhere to safety guidelines, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles and experience applying them in a manufacturing or workshop setting.

Proficiency in Technical Drawing, including reading and creating mechanical drawings and schematics.

Hands-on experience with Machining and Milling operations, including safe setup, operation, and basic maintenance of equipment.

Effective Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving mechanical and equipment issues.

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

Ability to use measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and interpret technical specifications.

Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Comfort working on-site in a workshop or factory environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting;

experience with CAD software is an advantage.
