Assistant Professor / Associate Professor - Personality Development & Corporate Communication / English

Core Responsibilities

Instruction & Delivery:
Conduct undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, seminars, training sessions, and practical classes (typically a minimum of 16 direct teaching/training hours per week) in personality development, soft skills, verbal and written communication, corporate communication, and professional etiquette.

Curriculum Development:
Prepare syllabus materials, lesson plans, training modules, assignments, assessments, and adopt cutting-edge teaching and training methodologies.

Research & Publication:
Actively engage in academic research and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals (subject matter).

Student Training & Mentorship:
Guide students in language enhancement, interview preparation, group discussions, presentations, professional communication, personality development, career readiness, and overall professional grooming.

Examination & Assessment Duties:
Set question papers, conduct assessments, invigilate examinations, evaluate answer sheets, presentations, viva-voce, and maintain academic/training records.

Placement & Professional Readiness:
Train students for campus placements, corporate interactions, and workplace communication requirements.

Institutional Administration:
Assist department heads in NAAC/NBA accreditation processes,



organizing seminars, workshops, conferences, training programs, and departmental/institutional events.

Essential Qualifications & Eligibility

- Masters Degree in English, Communication, Management, or a related allied subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grading scale).
- Must have cleared the UGC/CSIR NET or an equivalent State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET), wherever applicable.
- Candidates holding a Ph.D. in accordance with UGC regulations are generally exempted from the NET requirement.
- Ph.D. preferred for Associate Professor position.
- Relevant certifications/training in soft skills, personality development, or corporate communication will be an added advantage.

Experience

- Teaching, training, or corporate communication experience preferred.
- Experience in soft skills training, interview preparation, personality development, communication skills, and placement readiness programs is desirable.

Skills Required

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation, mentoring, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to motivate and professionally groom students.
- Capability to conduct interactive and experiential training sessions.
