Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering / building services engineering. Master's Degree/Chartered Engineering status is a plus. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in engineering consultancy firms.

Experience in Middle East projects will be highly preferred.

Have a proven record as a Design Engineer on projects such as commercial, high-rise residential, mixed-use, hotels or data centre projects.

Demonstrates strong technical expertise in HVAC engineering.

Key Responsibilities

HVAC design, including load calculations, system selection (Chilled Water, VRF/DX, and Packaged Systems), equipment sizing and selection, pressurization systems, smoke extraction design in compliance with local fire codes, and energy-efficient design solutions.

Delivery of projects through all design stages, including Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detailed Design, and IFC

Coordination with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design delivery.

Prepare markups and review of HVAC drawings and BIM models using AutoCAD and Navisworks/ACC.

Knowledge of design philosophy/design fundamentals and codes/guidelines such as ASHRAE, CIBSE, NFPA, Local Fire Code and Local Authority Requirements

Demonstrates robust engineering analysis and problem-solving skills

Technical Software skills: HAP, IES VE is a plus, Bluebeam, AutoCAD basics, Navisworks, ACC.

Should be responsible for Quality Management (QA) for their team.

Have knowledge of the company’s delivery in CAD standards and 3D working.
