Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Assembly

- Assemble mechanical components, modules, and sub-assemblies as per engineering drawings
- Perform fitting, alignment, fastening, and installation of mechanical parts
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments during assembly activities

Technical Drawing Interpretation

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly layouts, and technical instructions
- Follow assembly procedures and specifications accurately

Quality Inspection

- Conduct routine inspections during assembly processes
- Verify dimensional accuracy, fitment, and alignment of components
- Report defects and non-conformities to supervisors

Troubleshooting & Support

- Identify and resolve assembly-related issues
- Support engineers and supervisors in machine build and modification activities
- Participate in machine installation and testing when required

Workplace Safety & Housekeeping

- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work setting
- Follow company safety procedures and assembly standards
- Ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and materials

Team Coordination

- Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and supervisors
- Support production schedules and assembly targets

Required Skills

- Ability to read and interpret technical and assembly drawings

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Fitter, or related field

Experience

- 2-10 years of experience in mechanical assembly, sub-assembly, or machinery manufacturing
- Experience in industrial equipment, conveyors, automation systems, or machine building preferred

Preferred (Value Add)

- Experience in conveyor assembly, automation equipment, or machine building
- Exposure to manufacturing and industrial environments
- Knowledge of mechanical components and assemblies
