About the Role We are a profitable, digital-first personal care brand (moisturizers, sunscreens, and more) selling across Nykaa, Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, our own website, and quick-commerce channels. We are scaling fast, with omni channel expansion on the horizon. Awareness and consideration are our biggest growth levers right now. Our content, social, and influencer efforts run in parallel but lack a single owner to connect them, hold the brand line, and decide what we say and where we show up. This role is that owner — with full approval authority after an initial alignment period. This is not a conversion or retention role. Website CRO, Performance and retention are owned separately. Your mandate is brand, content strategy, social, and influencer — top and middle of funnel. What You'll Own

- Brand Direction & Approval Authority
- Define how the brand looks, sounds, and shows up everywhere — the final word on whether something is on-brand.
- Single point of approval for all outbound brand and marketing communication (tone, message, brand fit, quality). Technical accuracy stays with the product team.
- Content Strategy (Primary Focus)
- Own and drive the content strategy across the funnel, with particular emphasis on building awareness and consideration — our current gaps.
- Build a scalable content engine across owned channels including YouTube, Instagram, and the brand website.
- Manage the master content and campaign calendar across social, influencer, and integrated brand initiatives.
- Align content with product roadmaps, seasonal cycles, and promotional calendars.
- Drive unified storytelling across organic, influencer, and paid content to maintain brand voice continuity.
- Integrate AI tools into the content workflow to increase output velocity without sacrificing brand quality.
- Social & Owned Channels
- Set strategy for what we post, when, and why — and react fast to trends and cultural moments worth riding.
- Deep, current knowledge of Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platform formats and algorithms.
- Influencer Marketing
- Direct influencer strategy at scale — working with agencies and creators, not just one-off product seeding.
- Select, brief, negotiate with, and get the best out of creators and production partners.
- Team & Agency Leadership




- Lead three managers and their teams ~15 people indirectly; build approval workflows and rhythms that keep a fast-moving function aligned.
- Coordinate internal teams (product comms, social, influencer, in-house content) and external agencies into one coherent brand voice.

Creative Direction Eye for design, art direction, and visual consistency; able to brief and direct designers and agencies

Social & Platform Deep, current understanding of Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms — formats, algorithms, what makes content travel

Analytics Comfortable reading content and campaign performance, running tests, and translating data into creative decisions

Channel Know-how Understands how brand and content show up on Nykaa, Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, and quick-commerce

Trend Sensing Finger on the pulse of culture and category, with the judgment to act on what's worth riding

Nice to Have

- Experience in personal care, beauty, or adjacent FMCG categories.
- Familiarity with Nykaa, Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, and quick-commerce platform dynamics.
