Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Marketing Communications Intern. The intern will support the creation and distribution of marketing content across digital channels, including social media, email, and web platforms. Daily tasks may include drafting press releases, assisting with public relations activities, and helping to implement strategic communication plans that promote Digistall’s mission and initiatives in rural India.

The intern will collaborate with team members to maintain consistent messaging, monitor engagement,



and prepare basic reports on campaign performance. This role offers practical experience in communications while contributing to technology-driven rural development.

Qualifications

Ability to apply Marketing Communications and Strategic Communications skills to support campaigns and outreach initiatives.

Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to clarity and audience needs.

Basic experience or interest in Press Releases and Public Relations to help manage media and stakeholder communications.

Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

Proficiency with common digital tools and social media platforms; familiarity with basic content creation and editing.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks independently in a work from home setting.

Interest in rural development, technology adoption, and e-commerce is highly beneficial.
