Role Summary:

We are looking for a Python Developer to build scalable AI-powered applications for COGNIX, an enterprise Agentic AI platform. The role involves backend development, large-scale data processing, AI agent development, RAG implementation, API integrations, and cloud-native deployment.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Develop scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
- Develop AI agents, RAG pipelines, and workflow automation solutions.
- Process and analyze large datasets using Pandas and SQL.
- Integrate with databases, messaging systems, and external enterprise applications.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.




- Deploy and support applications on Kubernetes-based environments.

Mandatory Skills:

- Robust Python programming and OOP concepts.
- FastAPI or similar API frameworks.
- Pandas, SQL, and data processing.
- Async programming (AsyncIO), multithreading, and multiprocessing.
- REST APIs and API integration.
- RAG concepts and LLM integration.
- Agentic AI concepts, tool calling, and workflow orchestration.
- Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
- Docker, Kubernetes, Git.

Preferred Skills:

- Google ADK, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar agent frameworks.
- Redis, Vector Databases, ClickHouse.
- Azure/OpenAI/Gemini integrations.
- MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- BFSI domain experience.
