Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain accurate "Should Cost" models for various manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction, negotiate pricing agreements with suppliers, and implement sourcing strategies that meet business objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis of production costs, including material selection, labor rates, overhead expenses, and other relevant factors to optimize product profitability.
- Provide expert guidance on costing methodologies such as zero-based costing (ZBC) to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Job Requirements :

- 5-15 years of experience in a similar role within the automobile industry or related field.
- Robust understanding of should costing principles and ability to develop accurate models using industry-standard tools.
- Excellent negotiation skills with suppliers to secure favorable pricing agreements.
- Proficiency in sourcing strategies development and implementation.
