Job Title: Automotive HiL Testing Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Automotive HiL Testing Engineers with strong expertise in dSPACE, CAN, ECU Testing, Diagnostics, CAPL Scripting, and Python Automation. The candidate will be responsible for validating automotive ECUs using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) platforms and developing automation frameworks for test execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing and validation for automotive ECUs.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for Control Desk and Automation Desk environments.
- Configure and operate dSPACE HiL test benches.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Python and CAPL.
- Perform CAN-based testing, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Validate ECU functionalities and perform diagnostics testing.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development,



system, and validation teams to ensure product quality.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong experience in HiL Testing.
- Hands-on experience with dSPACE ControlDesk and AutomationDesk.
- Valuable knowledge of CAN Protocol and CAN-based testing.
- Experience in ECU Testing and Automotive Diagnostics.
- Strong scripting experience in CAPL.
- Hands-on experience in Python Automation.
- Experience with automotive testing and validation activities.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer).
- Experience in UDS, ISO14229, Diagnostics protocols.
- Familiarity with Automotive ECU development lifecycle.
- Exposure to ASPICE/Automotive standards.

Education

- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in ECE, EEE, E&I;, Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, or related disciplines.
