Job Summary The Manager of Engineering (Total Experience Delivery) is responsible for shaping and enhancing experience across The Standard’s digital products and platforms. With an eye to projects at the enterprise level, you will work collaboratively in defining the experience technology strategy and will ensure the delivery of innovative & user-centric solutions that significantly improve our product experiences.

In this role, you will be accountable for planning, execution, and operational support of engineering teams responsible for enterprise‑critical CRM platforms and capabilities. You will lead teams delivering Salesforce‑based solutions—across Sales, Service, marketing integrations, and workflow automation—that enable unified, high‑quality customer journeys and efficient internal operations. You will guide engineering staff within the Total Experience (TX) organization, fostering technical excellence, scalable solution design, and a robust partnership model across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include steering multi‑year CRM roadmaps, aligning business and platform priorities, and ensuring governance across architecture, security, data quality, and financial standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead engineering teams responsible for delivering and supporting Salesforce capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud integrations, case and workflow automation, CRM analytics, and customer data integrations.
- Oversee delivery and operational excellence for CRM and customer‑data platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, data integrity, and high‑quality user and customer and employee experiences.
- Translate customer, agent, and internal stakeholder journey needs into CRM and data solutions, partnering closely with IT, Experience, and Business teams to design robust Salesforce implementations and cross‑platform integrations.
- Develop and maintain multi‑year CRM platform roadmaps—spanning Salesforce clouds,



integrations, automation, data quality initiatives, and Experience Delivery—aligned with enterprise strategy and priorities.
- Drive engineering best practices across CRM architecture, configuration, integrations (APIs, middleware, data pipelines), automation (Flows, Apex), deployment, release management, and operational support.
- Strengthen platform resiliency and performance through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, data governance, incident management, and continuous improvement of CRM capabilities.
- Ensure governance and compliance across CRM platforms, including adherence to enterprise architectural, security, privacy, legal, and financial controls.
- Advance CRM modernization through cloud‑native approaches, API‑first integrations, and automation capabilities to improve delivery speed, data consistency, and scalability.
- Foster a connected and empowered engineering culture focused on coaching, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning in the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Ability to work on ‑site in Bengaluru, India is required.

Mode of Working: This role follows a hybrid work model with a primary base in Bengaluru. On ‑ site presence is essential for key engagements, with flexibility for remote work based on business needs and team alignment. Skills And Background You’ll Need Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related discipline (MIS specialization preferred).

Experience

- 8–10 years of IT experience, including 3+ years managing engineering teams.
- Demonstrated success leading engineering teams delivering CRM or Salesforce‑based solutions supporting customer‑facing or enterprise experience platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce technologies (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Flows, Apex, integrations), customer data ecosystems, and scalable CRM architectures.
- Deep familiarity with authentication and identity technologies (SSO, OAuth, SAML), data security best practices, and platform governance.
- Strong background in hybrid cloud or cloud‑native development (Azure preferred), CI/CD, DevOps practices,



and automation within the Salesforce or CRM domain.
- Experience collaborating across IT, Experience, and Business stakeholders to deliver aligned servicing and CRM outcomes.
- Background in data integration, middleware, or enterprise data management is a plus.
