Job Title: Deputy Manager / Manager – NPD Quality

About The Role CapGrid is looking for a Deputy Manager / Manager – NPD Quality with a strong background in the Fasteners industry . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Current Product Development (NPD) Quality , ensuring quality compliance throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead quality activities for New Product Development (NPD) projects.
- Ensure APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and other quality documentation are prepared and implemented.
- Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and supplier teams during new product development.
- Conduct product validation, process audits, and quality inspections.
- Resolve quality issues during product development and production launch.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and automotive quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.





Candidate Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in NPD Quality within the Fasteners industry.
- Mandatory: Candidate must be from a Fastener manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, and other quality tools.
- Experience in handling new product launches and customer quality requirements.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management systems.

Preferred Background Candidates should be from reputed Fastener manufacturing companies .
