Role & responsibilities-

- Teach undergraduate (BDS) and postgraduate (MDS) students through lectures, demonstrations, tutorials, and clinical postings.
- Supervise and mentor students in academic, pre-clinical, and clinical activities.
- Provide quality patient care and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Conduct and participate in seminars, journal clubs, case presentations, and continuing academic activities.
- Contribute to research, scientific publications, and academic development of the department.
- Assist in departmental administration, maintenance of records, equipment, and inventory.
- Participate in university examinations, internal assessments, and evaluation of students as per institutional and regulatory guidelines.
- Support departmental activities during inspections, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
- Perform academic, clinical, research,



and administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Head of the Department and the institution.

Preferred candidate profile-

- MDS in the relevant specialty from a recognized institution.
- Must meet the eligibility criteria as per applicable regulatory norms for the position of Senior Lecturer/Reader.
- Strong academic, clinical, and teaching skills.
- Positive communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Research publications and conference presentations will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary academic and clinical environment.
- Candidates with prior teaching experience in a recognized dental college will be preferred.
