Your impact begins on day one, and your contributions will help define our future in the region The Instructional Designer & Facilitator for STS Current Hire Onboarding for Schwab Indiais responsible fordesigning and delivering a seamless, high-impact onboarding experience that enables new employees to become productive, connected, and confidentquickly. Thisrole combines instructional design, onboarding experience design, and live facilitation to support the full new hire lifecycle—from pre-Day 1 through the first90 days. The role partners closely with STS University, HR, business leaders, and SMEs to ensure onboarding is consistent, scalable, and aligned to Schwab culture and ways of working.

Key Responsibilities Design and continuously improve end-to-end Schwab India onboarding journeys across the new hire lifecycle (pre-Day 1, Day 1, first week,



first 30/60/90 days). Create structured onboarding pathways that are clear, simple, and role-aligned to improve new hire experience and retention. Integrate key onboarding elements including culture, tools, processes, and organizational navigation into a cohesive experience.

Design onboarding content using storyboards, outlines, and learner flows to ensure clarity, engagement, and consistency.

Develop training modules and videos from storyboard through production,maintainingalignment to learningobjectives.

Create materials across formats including eLearning, facilitator guides, job aids, onboarding toolkits, and knowledge transfer artifacts.

Translate complex technical and organizational content into simple, actionable learning experiences tailored for current hires.

Partner closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) toidentifycritical skills, knowledge areas, and success criteria for new hires.

Co-create structured learning pathways that guide new employees through onboarding and into role readiness (technical, functional, and cultural).

Facilitate content discovery sessions to extract knowledge from SMEs and convert it into scalable, reusable learning assets.

Ensure learning pathways aligntojob roles, competencies, and business priorities, including engineering practices and tools.

Continuously refine pathways based on feedback, performance data, and evolving business needs. What you have Required Qualifications Develops risk solutions and coordinates with teams to refine risk management approaches

Delivers solutions that enhance business impact through strategic program management





Enhances resource allocation while refining project management strategies for improved outcomes

Experience in instructional design, onboarding, or learning experience design

Experience working with SMEs to design learning pathways or curriculum

Demonstrated ability tofacilitateengaging training sessions (virtual and in-person)

Strong communicationand stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting new hire onboarding Experience developing role-based or competency-based learning pathways

Experience working across global teams (U.S.–India model)

Familiarity with learning tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, or similar
