Position Overview

As the Manager – Finance, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, MIS management, and internal controls. You will directly lead and mentor a team of 2–4 finance professionals while working closely with cross-functional leaders, external auditors, and executive stakeholders to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Accounting & Financial Operations

1. Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes.
2. Ensure accurate accounting of general ledgers, revenue, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets in compliance with statutory standards.
3. Maintain robust internal financial controls and ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and corporate laws, including GST, TDS, and Direct/Indirect Tax.

2. Financial Reporting & MIS

1. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
2. Design and automate insightful MIS reports, variance analysis (Budget vs. Actuals), and KPI dashboards to support decision-making.
3. Drive cash flow management, working capital optimization, and liquidity forecasting.

Leadership & Team Management

1. Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team of 2–4 accounting/finance professionals.
2. Delegate daily responsibilities, set performance milestones, and optimize workflow efficiency.

4. Stakeholder Management & Strategy

1. Act as a key finance partner to business functions including Operations, Sales, Tech, and HR to support budgeting and strategic planning.
2. Manage relationships with external partners, including auditors, tax consultants, banking partners, and vendors.

Requirements & Qualifications Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) OR MBA in Finance from a Tier-1 institute.

Experience: 3–6 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, financial planning, and accounting.

Core Competencies:

1. Hands-on expertise in end-to-end accounting operations, MIS design, and financial modelling.
2. Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) / Indian GAAP and tax compliances.
3. Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems such as Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or NetSuite, and financial reporting tools.

2. Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing and developing small teams.
