Title: MSS (Managed Security Services) – Manager

Location: Gurgaon, Magnum Global Park

Reports to: SOC Lead, Security Operations Centre (SOC)

Team: BAS Cyber (SOC)

Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SOC Manager with 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity. This role combines both operational leadership and technical expertise and is responsible to lead 24x7 SOC operations while ensuring consistent, high-quality security monitoring and incident response.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead day to day operations of a 24x7 SOC.
- Onboard current customers to firm’s MSS offering




- Manage analyst shifts, staffing levels, leave planning and roster optimization.
- Conduct operational reviews to identify process improvements and increase SOC efficiency.
- Act as point of contact for high-priority security incidents and driving log ingestion validation with customer.
- Review incident reports to ensure consistency, technical accuracy and quality.
- Review existing use cases and implement new detection logics based on emerging threats.
- Maintain and optimize SIEM platforms to improve visibility and reduce false positives.
- Lead creation, review and maintenance of SOC playbooks and SOPs.
- Standardize response processes to improve consistency across analyst teams.
- Act as operational liaison with external threat intelligence partner.
- Evaluate intelligence feeds and translate relevant intelligence into actionable detection use cases.
- Lead, mentor and develop SOC analysts across different experience levels.

Education & Qualification:

- 8 to 10 years of work experience in cybersecurity domain.
- A valid CISM certificate.
- Have experience supporting cloud based SIEM platforms operations for 3 years as SOC Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline with Masters or MBA in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance or relevant discipline is highly desirable.
