We are hiring a dedicated technical leader to build and evolve, a strategic AI platform for Professional Services. This is intended to become a governed, enterprise-grade AI capability that helps delivery teams find, reuse, and generate high-quality delivery assets, accelerate SaaS migrations, support competitive takeouts, and improve consultant productivity through secure, traceable, permission-aware AI workflows.

This role is not a generic AI developer position. The successful candidate will own the technical build of a differentiated internal AI product that combines document ingestion, multimodal processing, RAG, agentic workflows, enterprise identity, Microsoft Graph and SharePoint integration, governance, usage analytics, and cost transparency.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain the application architecture across backend services, ingestion pipelines, AI orchestration, retrieval layers, and user-facing capabilities.
- Develop secure Python-based services using FastAPI, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, pgvector or equivalent vector search technology, and background job processing.
- Implement robust document ingestion for PDFs, Office documents, images, screenshots, and other delivery artifacts, including parsing, OCR, metadata extraction, classification, and lifecycle handling.
- Build RAG capabilities that retrieve from the governed data, approved internal collateral, and approved external sources while preserving source traceability, sensitivity labels, and domain awareness.
- Create agentic workflows using tool-calling, ReAct-style reasoning patterns, structured prompts, workflow orchestration, and human review checkpoints where required.




- Integrate with enterprise identity and access controls, including OAuth/OIDC, JWT validation, claims and role mapping, SSO token validation, and Beyond Identity or equivalent identity mechanisms.
- Integrate with Microsoft Graph and SharePoint from Python to retrieve approved internal collateral while respecting permissions, governance rules, and source restrictions.
- Support multimodal use cases, including screenshot and image analysis, vision model calls, and AI-assisted troubleshooting grounded in relevant artifacts.
- Instrument usage, adoption, reuse, token consumption, model usage, and dollar-cost attribution by workflow component to support AI cost governance and value realization.
- Collaborate closely with the Global VP of Qualified Services, Professional Services leaders, enablement teams, delivery SMEs, product stakeholders, security, IT, and governance teams to translate requirements into working capabilities.
- Maintain clear technical documentation, architecture notes, deployment guidance, operational runbooks, and reusable patterns so it can evolve as an internal AI product.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong Python development experience, including production-grade backend services.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks.
- Strong understanding of REST API design, authentication, authorization,



error handling, and API lifecycle management.
- PostgreSQL experience, including schema design, performance tuning, and operational reliability.
- Experience with embeddings and vector search, ideally using pgvector or a comparable enterprise-ready vector database.
- Practical experience building Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions, including chunking, indexing, retrieval, reranking, grounding, prompt construction, and response traceability.
- Experience calling LLM APIs from Python, including model selection, structured outputs, error handling, retries, token management, and cost awareness.
- Experience calling vision or multimodal model APIs from Python for image, screenshot, or document understanding use cases.
- Experience with PDF and document parsing, including extraction of text, tables, images, metadata, and document structure.
- Experience with OCR and image handling for scanned documents, screenshots, diagrams, or embedded images.
- Experience designing background jobs, queues, asynchronous processing, long-running ingestion tasks, and job status tracking.
- Understanding of agentic AI patterns, including ReAct, tool calling, function calling, workflow orchestration, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Experience with OAuth, OIDC, SSO token validation, JWT validation, claims mapping, and role-based access control.
- Ability to integrate with Microsoft Graph API and SharePoint file access from Python.
- Basic frontend capability sufficient to build or maintain simple user interfaces, workflow screens, administration pages, upload experiences, and status views.
