Job Description

Alpha Group of Institutions is inviting applications from nurturing, enthusiastic, and experienced PRT Homeroom (Mother) Teachers for Grade I & II across our CBSE and International schools.

The selected candidates will function as Class Teachers, handling core subjects and supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development.

Eligibility Criteria

- Any Undergraduate degree with B.Ed
OR
Diploma in Montessori / Early Childhood Education

- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience

- Experience in CBSE and/or Cambridge curriculum is preferred

- Prior experience as a Mother Teacher / Primary Homeroom Teacher is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

- Act as Homeroom / Class Teacher for Grade I or II

- Teach English, Mathematics, and EVS

- Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging, and activity-based lessons

- Monitor and support students’ academic and holistic development

- Maintain classroom discipline and create a nurturing learning environment





- Conduct assessments, maintain academic records, and prepare progress reports

- Communicate effectively with parents and participate in PTMs

- Collaborate with subject teachers and academic coordinators

- Participate in school events, trainings, and curriculum planning

Desired Candidate Profile

- Strong understanding of primary education pedagogy

- Excellent communication and classroom management skills

- Child-friendly, patient, and empathetic teaching approach

- Ability to integrate experiential and play-based learning

- Familiarity with digital teaching tools is an added advantage
