About the Role

This is a senior engineering position within VeriPark's AI Engineering practice, embedded in our R&D; and product delivery teams. You will design, build, and ship production-grade agentic AI solutions that power the next generation of banking and financial services applications.

VeriPark is a Microsoft strategic partner exclusively focused on the financial services industry. Our products -- VeriChannel, VeriTouch, VeriBranch, VeriLoan, and VeriLink -- serve over 150 banks in 30+ countries. You will operate at the frontier of Microsoft's AI platform, deploying intelligent agents, conversational AI, and automation workflows that make our clients AI-first digital leaders.

The primary engineering language for this role is C#. You will be expected to build production AI applications on the Microsoft Azure stack, with Microsoft AI Foundry and Microsoft Copilot Studio as your core platforms. Beyond delivery, you will play an active role in PoC initiatives, technical pre-sales, and evaluating emerging AI technologies -- bridging R&D; and client-facing work.

What You Will Be Doing

AI Agent & Solution Development

- Design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions using Microsoft AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Agent Framework and popular OSS stack -- from proof-of-concept through to production.
- Develop C# / .NET applications that orchestrate multi-agent workflows for banking use cases such as relationship manager intelligence, loan servicing automation, and conversational banking.
- Build and extend custom Copilot Studio agents: authoring topics, configuring connectors and plugins, integrating with enterprise data sources, and maintaining conversation quality.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using Azure AI Search, vector stores, and Azure OpenAI Service for grounded, citation-backed responses.
- Participate in the design, development, and deployment of LLM-based solutions including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and domain adaptation techniques.

Integration & Platform Engineering

- Design and implement backend services and APIs in C# / .NET that connect AI capabilities to core banking systems, CRM (Dynamics 365), and data platforms.
- Contribute to the packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management of AI agents via Microsoft AI Foundry, ensuring reusability and enterprise-readiness.
- Build robust, observable AI pipelines with Azure Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and structured logging.

Innovation & Technology Evaluation





- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies and open-source tools -- including new agent frameworks, vector search solutions, and foundation models -- into VeriPark's product suite.
- Take an active role in Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives: preparing demo environments, prototypes, and solution proposals aligned with client needs and VeriPark's product roadmap.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams by providing technical expertise during client engagements, supporting proposal preparation, solution demos, and responding to RFPs/RFIs with AI capability insights.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

- Work closely with VeriPark's product managers, business analysts, and solution architects to translate banking requirements into AI-powered features.
- Contribute to VeriPark's AI engineering standards, reusable patterns, and internal knowledge base.
- Provide technical guidance, architecture documentation, and mentoring to junior engineers in the team.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML or agentic AI solutions.
- Strong C# and .NET development background -- this is the primary language requirement; the majority of your delivery will be in C#.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft AI Foundry: model catalog, prompt flow, evaluations, deployments, and responsible AI tooling.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Agent Framework (the evolution of Semantic Kernel) for building production-grade agentic systems in .NET: multi-agent orchestration, tool-calling, process automation, and agent lifecycle management. Familiarity with Semantic Kernel as the established foundation and with the M365 Agents SDK for building agents that integrate natively with Microsoft 365 experiences.
- Proven experience with Azure OpenAI Service: prompt engineering, chat completions, structured outputs, function-calling, and RAG patterns.
- Experience with Azure AI Search: vector indexing, hybrid retrieval, semantic ranking, and indexer pipelines.
- Understanding of multi-agent architectures: agent orchestration, handoff protocols, tool-use patterns, and guardrail design.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field -- or equivalent hands-on experience.

Preferred Qualifications

These are not mandatory at the start, but they significantly strengthen a candidacy:

- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio: building agents, authoring topics, configuring connectors, integrating APIs and enterprise data sources.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate, Power Platform,



and enterprise process automation integrated with AI agents.
- Familiarity with Azure platform services: Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Service Bus.
- Python experience and familiarity with OSS AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen and others) -- treated as a strong plus, not a requirement. Awareness of the broader open-source agent ecosystem is valued.
- Domain experience in financial services or banking -- understanding of core banking workflows, compliance requirements, or regulated environments.
- Microsoft certifications: AI-102 (Azure AI Engineer Associate), AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate), or DP-600 preferred. Willingness to obtain AI-102 within the first year of joining is expected.
- Experience with Azure Machine Learning for model fine-tuning, custom model evaluation, and MLflow-based experiment tracking.
